The National Savate Referee & Judge Seminar and National Diploma Examination, organized by the Savate Association of India, was conducted on 7–8 February 2026 in New Delhi.
The seminar was organized to strengthen technical knowledge and officiating standards of referees and judges in line with international Savate regulations. The programme focused on improving consistency, professionalism, and practical decision-making to better prepare officials for upcoming national and international competitions.
The seminar was conducted under the expert guidance of Ms. Anna Khosravi, Chairperson of the Arbitrage Commission of the Asian Savate Confederation, who was specially invited from Iran.

The sessions included updated rules, officiating techniques, practical exercises, and a written examination to assess theoretical understanding and judgment. A total of 51 referees and judges from seven provinces successfully qualified in the diploma examination and were awarded certificates. This initiative has significantly strengthened the readiness and confidence of Indian officials and will support preparations for future continental competitions. The programme was honoured by the presence of Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Chintamani as Chief Guest.

The successful completion of this programme marks an important step in developing a more structured and internationally aligned officiating system in India. We remain committed to continued cooperation and growth under the guidance of international Savate leadership.
