Postponement of the World and Asian Savate Championships 2020 due to Covid19

In the last weeks, members of the FISav Committe Director and Commissions have been considering the dates, and possible postponement of the World Assaut and Canne de CombatChampionships (September-Austria) due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision has now been made that the World Championships is postponed to new date.

Savate Video Competition

Many of us cannot leave our homes, due to government restrictions, but we want to stay fit and healthy.

Today, FISav is launching a competition for Savate coaches and athletes who would like to share their training tips with others. There WILL be prizes for the best videos submitted.

In these challenging times, many of our national federations and their member clubs have been forced to close and to cancel or postpone seminars and competitions. Some of our family members, friends and colleagues have been ill with Covid19, others have lost their source of income.

We are all shocked by the growing death toll across the globe.

As you are aware, at this time, the only sure way of restricting the spread of the Coronavirus is to stay at home and minimise contact with others.
